In 2020, my family and I began remodeling our home just before the pandemic began. After researching ideas for a vision of my “new” home and consulting with a close friend who had beautiful interior design in her home- I was ready to make it happen!

The process was longer, harder, and cost more upfront than I had anticipated! We estimated a few weeks. It took a few months. The labor was intensive and exhausting. Everything costs more than our budget, plus, we had to purchase more tools with each project. There were several times when we wanted to stop because we were tired, frustrated, and burnt out. But, our home was a super hot mess! On those days, we reminded ourselves of the vision for the home of our dreams. Then, continued.

Eventually, we got to the fun part- decorating! When that was finished, we marveled at what the Lord had done through us! Before we began the remodeling process, I was too ashamed of our home to take “before” pictures. I wish I had because the transformation was so beautiful!

As I shared this with a friend- I told her it gave me valuable insight and appreciation for entrepreneurship. She replied, “As you were explaining about the process, it sounds like what you do for women”. In that moment, the seed for Soul Remodeling™ was planted. She suggested, “Soul Renovation”. But I landed on “Soul Remodeling”™ because I’m not restoring to your original state (who you were before); I am creating something new (who you’re becoming now).
